Do I need to contact you before shipping cards?
Yes. Please contact Second Shot Cards before sending inventory. This allows us to review what you have, discuss the consignment and provide the appropriate shipping or delivery instructions.
Which cards need advance photographs?
We generally ask consignors to send clear photos of cards they value above approximately $40. This helps us identify cards that may benefit from being loaded as pre-bid listings before the live sale.
Should I send photos before the cards arrive?
Absolutely. Sending photos early can allow us to begin preparing selected listings before your package arrives, depending on the timing and the inventory involved.
Do you charge a fee for every individual card?
Our standard structure does not add a separate flat consignment fee to every individual card. Second Shot Cards receives 10% of proceeds after applicable platform fees.
How are payouts calculated?
Applicable platform fees are accounted for first. Second Shot Cards then receives 10% of the remaining proceeds, with the balance constituting the consignor's payout, subject to the agreed consignment terms.
How will I receive my payout?
We currently use PayPal for consignor payouts. We'll confirm the current payout method and any necessary payment information with you before accepting your consignment.
Can I consign an entire collection?
Yes. Larger consignments and complete collections are welcome for consideration. Contact us with an overview of what you have and we'll discuss the best approach.
